Arthur Cottam Horseshoes

The Arthur Cottam Horseshoe Company was founded in 1926 by Arthur Cottam who was the great grandfather of the current Managing Director Paul Cottam. The company began with the manufacture of specialist light weight aluminum horseshoes for the horse racing industry and in the early 1960s started to produce a range of general purpose steel concave riding horseshoes, this was followed by the importing of farrier tools and horseshoe nails from all around the world.

Over the last 25 years we have developed our own brand range of farrier products to include farrier tools, portable forges, steel anvils and manufacture over 300 sizes of concave horseshoes, we are now the largest independent family owned horseshoe and farrier tool manufacturer in the United Kingdom.
